What is the initial payment for?
The initial payment acts as a deposit and is paid to Build-Surety. This deposit is refundable (within a 2-week cooling-off period) should you decide not to proceed with the project before it starts. This protects you while you finalised your decision.
When do I pay the contractor?
Once the project begins, you will pay the contractor directly at each inspection stage after you've approved the work. This ensures you're satisfied with the progress before each payment is released.
How do I approve a stage for payment?
Once you received from email or Contractor, You can approve a stage through your Build-Surety dashboard.
What happens if I'm not satisfied with a stage?
You should communicate your concerns to the contractor immediately. [Explain the process for resolving disputes or requesting revisions. For example: "You can use the Build-Surety platform to communicate with the contractor," or "You can request a meeting to discuss the issues."]
we can arrange "3-way chat" to support the issue technically.
